The hosts are such nice and friendly people! We could do the fantastic Addo Tour with Tim and Suzette and spent practically the whole day together. We even tried plant "spekbuam" and liked them! Right at the beginning of our Gardenroute-trip, Suzette and Tim gave us also a lot of valuable information about SA and made us feel at home. What a great experience!

Happy Jackal is very coneniently located 2 minutes from Addo Elephant Park. We were very nicely welcomed and had a wonderful room. They arranged a very pleasant promenade on a boat on the river including a walk on the dunes with a beautiful sunset and healthy picnic, as well as a great safari in Addo with a nice and knowledgeable ranger - besides the elephants...etc, we managed to witness a couple of lions hunting. We really very much enjoyed our stay.

We had an absolute incredible stay at Happy Jackal! Suzette was an exceptional host - warm, welcoming, and full of great tips that really enhanced our visit. She was also wonderfully flexible, which made everything more enjoyable. Our house was perfectly equipped, spotlessly clean, and very cozy. The cleaning team did an outstanding job, and everything we needed - like fresh towels - was thoughtfully provided. The location is the cherry on top: Addo South Gate is just a four-minute drive away! We're already looking forward to our next visit. :)

Wawww most friendly amazing and warm people I met. They make your place like you are at home. Great service, great communication, great braai, breakfast and atmosphere. Love the oranges and limes so fresh and pure. Send you a lot of love!

Suzette and Tim welcomed us with the warmest hospitality. From the moment we arrived they made sure to make us feel at home in this wonderful guest house.
The food was great and the rooms were very nice and clean.
